Channel Based Communication
Channel Based Communication:- based on the channel we can include two types of communication. These are as follows:-
Formal Communication:-
We make sure that communication should take place in a formal pattern that is acceptable in an organization. We can call it business communication or corporate communication. The use of meetings, conferences, business letters, and written memos within the organization can be included in this type of communication. Formal communication can happen between two unknown persons at the time of their first meeting. Formal communication follows a simple, rigid, accurate, and official approach.
Informal Communication:-
In it, we can include free and open communication between two parties, agents, or people who share a rapport(relation). In this type of communication, there should be two persons who have the same wavelengths or common interests. It is not based on any fixed rule or guideline. It does not have any limitation of place or time. Long telephonic conversations and online chats are examples of informal communication. Generally, this type of communication can occur between friends and family members.
